Gateway bought LT2118u (with Windows 7 starts) and has been agnostic on Amazon recommended 2 GB of RAM, because different people referring to accept progress and agitated with the system know the memory. Amazon rep did not know … Meeting recommended that Gateway … it was hard … no amount listed hum. After searching online, I saw several people said they just updated the BIOS from Acer and upgrade your computer. The absitively RAM recommended for acquisition by Amazon (2GB SODIMM 256Mx64P 5300) from Cruial … if failed, would have received. I installed a history of home gateway and application of the procedures was the perfect … start the computer and used memory. Acute computer seems faster! By the way, I can not change your computer's BIOS … ACER is still ver 1.15.

This is a perfect alternative to a compact portable computer, which is especially suited for web browsing and email. I would not want an important document to create the effect of the compact keyboard, but adds Google Docs and this can better "office" projects to do very effectively. Battery life is exceptional. I bought an aftermarket mouse, mouse pad made little less annoying. Highly recommended.
